JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - TNI’s Kapuspen Major General Aulia Dwi Nasrullah has responded to public scrutiny regarding the four suspects in the acid-spraying case against KontraS activist Andrie Yunus, whose faces have not yet been exposed.

According to him, the perpetrators’ faces will be visible to the public during the open trial at the Jakarta Military Court II-08.

“I think they will be presented at the trial anyway. And this will be done—once again, it will be open and we will be professional,” Aulia stated when met at the RI House of Representatives building on Thursday (16/4/2026).

On that occasion, Aulia also explained that the Andrie Yunus case will still be tried in the military court because the suspects are active TNI members.

He also assured that to date, only four TNI soldiers have been designated as suspects in the acid-spraying case against Andrie Yunus.

Regarding allegations that there were 16 perpetrators, Aulia asked all parties to wait for the trial process.

“Yes. We still have the suspects according to the investigation results, four people. We can see at the trial; we will also convey it openly and professionally,” he concluded.

For information, the case file involving the four TNI soldiers who are BAIS TNI members has been transferred to the Jakarta Military Court II-08 on Thursday (16/4/2026).

The Jakarta Military Prosecutor II-07 charged the four TNI soldiers with layered articles.

“This case file has met the formal and material requirements so that we can process it and turn it into the prosecutor’s opinion minutes and the legal opinion letter from the Chief Military Judge,” said the Head of Jakarta Military Prosecutor II-07, Colonel Corps of Law (Chk) Andri Wijaya, during a press conference at the Jakarta Military Court II-08 on Thursday morning.

Based on Kompas.com’s observation, the Military Prosecutor’s team arrived at the Jakarta Military Court II-08 around 09:34 WIB, carrying a large cardboard box suspected to contain the case file.

The box was carried by two TNI members to be handed over to the court as part of the trial process.

This case involves four BAIS TNI soldiers, namely Captain Nandala Dwi Prasetia (NDP), First Lieutenant Sami Lakka (SL), First Lieutenant Budhi Hariyanto Widhi (BHW), and Sergeant Edi Sudarko (ES).
