Fabregas comments on Real Madrid's pursuit of Jacobo Ramon and Nico Paz
Cesc Fabregas believes that Jacobo Ramon will remain with Como in the 2026-2027 season and will not return to Real Madrid. Jacobo Ramon and Nico Paz are now two mainstays for Como who are both repeatedly linked with the prospect of returning to their old club, Real Madrid, in the 2026 summer transfer window. Real Madrid has indeed included buy-back clauses for Nico Paz and Jacobo Ramon, two young stars from their renowned academy La Fábrica. Recently, amid the upheaval around the team, Real Madrid plans to overhaul its squad once again. In addition to sacking Xabi Alonso, Real Madrid has also had to contend with a shortage of players caused by injuries afflicting several stars. Meanwhile, Real Madrid also faces the aging of David Alaba and Antonio Rüdiger. Another player, Dean Huijsen, is now facing strong criticism due to his underwhelming performances. Real Madrid is also grappling with midfield issues, following Jude Bellingham’s injury and a lack of creative players. Apart from Bellingham, the side coached by Alvaro Arbeloa relies mainly on Arda Güler as the playmaker. In light of these conditions, Real Madrid reportedly intends to strengthen the squad by bringing in new players capable of injecting creativity. Nico Paz, who has recently been performing well for Como, continues to be widely reported to be returning to Real Madrid. Nico Paz’s creativity and his ability to dictate the tempo of play would be a useful addition to the Madrid squad. Meanwhile, Jacobo Ramon has also emerged as a strong defensive talent who has shone for Como alongside Marc-Oliver Kempf.
