ExxonMobil pipeline repaired

SINGAPORE: ExxonMobil Oil Indonesia Inc. has fixed a gas
pipeline leak detected Jan. 20 at the Arun natural gas field in
North Aceh and taking all necessary steps to prevent the gas
leakage from spreading, company spokeswoman Deva Rachman said
Tuesday.

ExxonMobil Oil Indonesia confirmed in a statement that a
pipeline leak was identified "between Cluster 3 and 4 at the Arun
field area of operations in Matangkuli subdistrict."

ExxonMobil has resumed normal gas production after temporarily
halting operations at affected areas to prevent the gas from
spreading to nearby communities, Deva said. -- Dow Jones
