foreign oil companies here are totally infused with the indonesian bureaucratic and rentier mind-set, which is why what should take, say, a month to achieve, takes a year. that's why exxon fought so hard to exclude pertamina from management of the Cepu block; they are parasites who don't give a damn about the prosperity of their own country.
