Jakarta – The Metro Jaya Regional Police Traffic Directorate has again offered Mobile Driving Licence (SIM Keliling) services in five areas of Jakarta on Wednesday, 20 May 2026, to facilitate the renewal of driving licences. According to the official X account of TMC Polda Metro Jaya, SIM Keliling operates from 08:00 to 14:00 WIB. ‘The Metro Jaya Police Traffic Directorate provides Mobile Driving Licence (SIM) services at five locations in Jakarta,’ the TMC Polda Metro Jaya posted. East Jakarta North Jakarta South Jakarta West Jakarta Central Jakarta. Meanwhile, SIMs whose validity has expired must apply for a new SIM at the designated Satpas SIM by the police. Residents wishing to renew their SIM must bring certain documents: a valid photocopy of KTP (ID card), a photocopy of the current SIM along with the original SIM, proof of health check, and proof of psychology test. ‘For the renewal fees, under Government Regulation No. 60 of 2016, it is Rp80,000 for SIM A and Rp75,000 for SIM C,’ the information said. Those fees do not include additional components such as health and psychology tests, so the total renewal cost typically ranges from Rp190,000 to Rp220,000.
