Three foreign nationals (WNA) were arrested after they produced a pornographic video disguised as an ojek online (motorcycle taxi) delivery in Bali. Following the video going viral and sparking considerable public outcry, the Criminal Investigation Unit of Badung Police (Satreskrim Polres Badung) and Immigration authorities at Ngurah Rai moved swiftly to apprehend the perpetrators, including the suspected mastermind behind the content production.

“In this case, we have identified three perpetrators. This act was committed with a modus operandi and motivation to profit from pornographic video and content,” stated Badung Police Chief AKBP Joseph Edward Purba at a press conference at his office on Tuesday (17/3/2026).

The three suspects identified were MMZL (female from France), NBS (male from Italy), and ERB (male from France). MMZL and NBS were the performers in the video, whilst ERB served as manager and uploader of the content to adult platforms.

Ojek Jacket as a Viral Hook

Behind the video, police uncovered a straightforward motive: seeking sensationalism. The ojek online attributes were deliberately used to make the content quickly capture public attention.

“To attract attention or make it go viral, they used a ojek jacket. So the Italian national (who wore it), not a local,” explained Joseph.

The jacket was purchased from a shop for Rp 300,000 and worn by suspect NBS to create the impression of an authentic ojek driver.

Digital Trail Leading to Arrest

The case was uncovered after a cyber team profiled the viral video allegedly produced within Badung Police jurisdiction on Friday (13/3/2026). Police then questioned an actual ojek driver who frequently transported suspect MMZL during her stay in Bali.

The ojek driver was subject to accusations from netizens as being the video’s performer, having previously collaborated on social media content through the account @ojolmagank.

“The Criminal Investigation Unit of Badung Police conducted profiling regarding the viral pornographic content video on social media. Subsequently, the unit interrogated an ojek online witness who had previously created content together with the suspected perpetrator,” explained Joseph.

Armed with identities already documented, police coordinated with Immigration to track the suspects’ movements.

Intercepted at Airport to Canggu

The suspects’ escape attempt was thwarted. MMZL and NBS were arrested at I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport as they were about to fly to Thailand on Friday (13/3/2026).

“Upon receiving information that two suspected perpetrators were about to leave Bali Province, the suspects were secured and brought to Badung Police Headquarters for further processing,” clarified Joseph.

“They had planned to depart for Thailand when we arrested them at the airport. There were indications of an intent to flee, possibly,” stated Head of Immigration Checkpoint (TPI) Ngurah Rai, Gde Oki Rizky Aryadhika Heris.

Meanwhile, ERB was arrested in the Canggu area, North Kuta, Badung, on Monday (16/3/2026).

“The female suspect’s entry was on 21 February using a visa on arrival (VoA) for tourism. Then, on 11 March, based on public information about viral news, she was immediately placed under surveillance,” said Gde Oki.

Manager’s Role and Shooting Location

Police revealed that ERB was not merely an associate but a manager who arranged production and distributed content to OnlyFans and X platforms.

“The female suspect had a relationship with the third perpetrator (ERB) as an employee and manager. Their acquaintance began at a nightlife venue in North Kuta,” explained Badung Police Chief AKBP Joseph Edward Purba.

The video was recorded at a villa in Pererenan Village, Mengwi District, Badung, on Sunday (8/3/2026) at approximately 14.40 WITA.

“To attract attention or make it go viral, they used a ojek jacket. The jacket was purchased from a shop for Rp 300,000, so it was not from an actual local ojek online,” asserted Joseph.

Actual Ojek Driver Merely a Witness

Police confirmed the ojek driver who became viral was only a witness. His services were frequently used by the female suspect for daily activities whilst in Bali.

“The ojek driver was merely a witness since his services were often used by the female perpetrator for transportation during her time in Bali. To this point, the female suspect has admitted to not having received profits from this viral video,” added Joseph.

Content Creator Speaks Out

Content creator Muhammad Ray (35) also spoke out after his name became implicated. He denied being the male performer in the video.

“Many comments said that I was in that video, so it became messy. Many people, including my wife, kept asking (about it),” said M Ray.

Ray claimed he had only collaborated on light content with the woman with initials MMJ, known as Slo.

“Just funny videos, nothing strange in them,” he added.

He stated that the encounter occurred in the Batu Bolong area, Canggu, and was solely for social media content purposes.

“We met by the roadside at first. Then I asked her to make a video, and that was it,” he explained.
