Seminar on asset-backed securities

A two-day seminar or workshop will be held on Oct. 1 through
Oct. 2 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Hotel Intercontinental
MidPlaza?, Jakarta, to discuss the future and opportunities in
asset-backed securities (ABS) in Indonesia.

Organized by Independent Research & Advisory and Bank
Indonesia, this event will discuss many important aspects of ABS,
such as the type of assets suitable for securitization, issuance
procedures, pricing, credit enhancement, the role of rating
agencies, accounting treatment, tax issues and marketing.
