Cost Reduction the ABC Way

Naresh Makhijani MSID, CMC, MBA, PGDMSM, B.Sc., a professional strategy and management consultant with 17 years of international experience in Europe and Asia and over 300 workshops, will present an overview, "Cost Reduction in the New Economy: The ABC Way", in an interactive workshop in Jakarta on July 21, 2004.

This one-day course will provide participants knowledge on how activity-based costing and management (ABC/M) is helping companies to understand the true costs of all their products and customers and thus where their profits come from.

The workshop will also give participants a framework to implement activity-based management (ABM), preview steps for building a model of activity-based costing and share the results of companies using ABM in the region and the U.S.
