Explosive Timeline: Influencer Nabilah Becomes a Suspect After Posting CCTV of Alleged Theft on Social Media
Jakarta, VIVA – The case involving influencer and owner of Bibi Kelinci Kopitiam in Kemang, South Jakarta, Nabilah O’Brien, has captured public attention. She is now a suspect in a defamation case after being reported by a husband-and-wife couple identified by the initials ZK and ESR.
The dispute originated from an incident at her restaurant on the night of 19 September 2025. The couple arrived at Bibi Kelinci at around 11.00 pm local time and ordered a total of 14 food and beverage items.
However, the atmosphere at the venue grew tense after they complained about the delay in their orders. The tension escalated into a dispute involving restaurant staff. Nabilah’s lawyer, Goldie Natasya Swarovski, explained that ZK and ESR were even said to have entered the kitchen area, which is off-limits to customers.
‘The two individuals engaged in intimidation by forcing entry into the kitchen area, which is a restricted area for customers. Restricted here means forbidden, yes, and it sparked the altercation,’ she said, cited on Saturday, 7 March 2026.
The altercation is alleged to have intensified to violence. According to CCTV footage, the couple allegedly struck the restaurant’s head chef, Abdul Hamid. They are also alleged to have struck the refrigerator in the kitchen area while hurling threats at staff present.
After the incident, around 00.00 local time, ZK and ESR reportedly left the restaurant without paying for the meals they had previously ordered. The restaurant staff briefly pursued them to collect payment, but the efforts were futile.
‘Though this was ignored. Once again, what I have said can be checked via CCTV, and can even be seen in our client’s posting,’ he said.
Feeling angry about the incident, Nabilah then uploaded CCTV footage showing the events to her social media account on 20 September 2025. At that time, according to her legal counsel, Nabilah did not know the identities of the couple.
Four days later, on 24 September 2025, Nabilah, through her legal counsel, sent a cease-and-desist letter to ZK and ESR asking them to apologise for the incident.
