Jakarta, Beritasatu.com - The trend of job absorption in Indonesia has recorded a significant surge of 134% over the past five years, reaching 2.71 million workers in 2025, and continues to show a positive trend with 1.45 million workers absorbed in the first half of 2026. Based on data from the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM), the efficiency of the investment ratio has also increased rapidly, where every investment value of Rp1 trillion is now able to absorb up to 1,434 workers in the first half of 2026, up sharply compared to its lowest point in 2022 which only absorbed 1,081 workers.
