Explosion at Mojokerto Nutrition Service Unit Injures Five, Three with Severe Burns

A powerful explosion rocked the Nutrition Fulfilment Service Unit (SPPG) in Mojokerto Puri Medali, injuring five people and causing the building’s roof to collapse. The incident occurred while three gas technicians were repairing a suspected problem with the LPG supply. The three technicians sustained serious burn injuries, with the most severe case suffering burns to 90 per cent of his body. Security guard Bagianto, who was on duty, stated that 13 people were inside the facility at the time of the blast, including himself, nine SPPG volunteers, and the three technicians. The Head of the Mojokerto Regency Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), Rinaldi Rizal Sabirin, confirmed that the immediate priority was evacuating the victims and extinguishing the resulting fire. He added that the police would conduct a full investigation to determine the exact cause of the explosion.
