Explore the Campus: Pertamina Goes to Campus 2026 Arrives to Forge a Generation of Leaders
PT Pertamina (Persero) is once again organising Pertamina Goes to Campus (PGTC) 2026. This programme serves as a strategic platform for students across Indonesia to sharpen their innovation, competencies, and leadership in addressing the increasingly dynamic global energy challenges.
Unlike previous editions, PGTC 2026 is more extensive, featuring a series of roadshows in five major cities in Indonesia. Carrying the theme ‘Energizing Acceleration for Future Impact’, the programme is designed as a bridge for the younger generation to transform from students into agents of change in the energy sector.
VP Corporate Communication of PT Pertamina (Persero), Muhammad Baron, stated that students are a national asset that will determine the direction of Indonesia’s energy independence in the future. Through PGTC, Pertamina not only provides competitions but also builds a comprehensive talent development ecosystem.
‘Pertamina believes that great innovations always begin on campus. Through Pertamina Goes to Campus 2026, we want to provide the widest possible space for the younger generation to explore, innovate, and create real impact. This is part of our ongoing commitment to preparing future leaders who are ready to take Indonesia towards energy independence,’ said Baron.
PGTC 2026 is increasingly prestigious and reaches a global audience, featuring two main categories that challenge students’ creativity and intelligence. At the national level, the PGTC series includes the Energynovation Ideas Competition (EIC) and Energy Debate Championship (EDC). These categories focus on in-depth research, innovative solutions, and critical thinking on green energy issues and sustainability.
Meanwhile, at the regional level, PGTC 2026 presents the Energy AdSport Challenge (EAC), which combines creativity and collaborative spirit through Advertising & Creative Competition, sports competitions, and Social Media Activation.
The best winners in the EDC and EIC categories will also have the opportunity to participate in an overseas programme with all costs covered by Pertamina. This programme continues the success of the previous year, where champions had the chance to attend a short course at Tsinghua University, China.
The PGTC 2026 series will begin with a kick-off ceremony at Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) on Thursday in the third week of May 2026. The event will feature inspirational agendas such as Energizing Talk, technology exhibitions at Exhibition Booths, and the start of the preliminary competition rounds.
Registration for the Energy AdSport Challenge category in West Java and Jabodetabek regions is now open through the official website www.pgtc.id. Through this channel, students can also register for attendance at the kick-off ceremony, either in person (offline) or online.
