Expert Says Prabowo's Leadership Turns National Hope into Tangible Policy
Management and communication expert Dr. M. Fariza Y. Irawady has lauded the performance of President Prabowo Subianto’s administration over the past 18 months. Fariza assessed that Prabowo’s leadership has successfully aligned the narrative of hope with concrete and measurable policy implementation.
According to Fariza, the President’s public communication style possesses a strength in maintaining national optimism. He stressed that what the President conveys is not merely political promises, but tangible evidence of programme execution that strengthens the economy. “President Prabowo continues to ignite the nation’s flame of hope through policies that strengthen the national economy and can be implemented concretely, not just spreading hope,” Fariza stated in Jakarta on Thursday (23/7/2026).
The graduate of the Doctor of Management Science programme at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Padjadjaran (UNPAD), viewed the President’s remarks during the Full Cabinet Session at Merdeka Palace as strategically significant. Fariza noted that the government’s success in resolving approximately 110 national issues within 1.5 years is a major achievement validated by data.
He also highlighted the aspect of humility in the President’s communication. Despite achieving significant results, Prabowo is considered to uphold a national character that is not arrogant, while remaining firm in demonstrating development progress.
One crucial point highlighted by Fariza was the successful consolidation of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) through Danantara Indonesia. The restructuring, which reduced the number of BUMN entities from 827 to 827 entities, was deemed a highly effective management move. Fariza noted that this efficiency has resulted in a real financial impact for the state. “This restructuring has managed to save Rp50 trillion. This shows that the government administration under President Prabowo works with high principles of effectiveness and efficiency,” he added.
Fariza concluded that the combination of strong leadership, inspirational communication, and agile bureaucratic management is the main key to why the current administration has been able to resolve many fundamental issues in a relatively short time.
