Expert Appreciates Prabowo's Consistency in Delivering on Work Promises

An expert and practitioner in communication and management, Dr M. Fariza Y. Irawady, has expressed appreciation for President Prabowo’s public communication, which he says continues to spread hope for the nation whilst proving it is not empty hope but can be implemented in real performance.

Fariza made the remarks in response to President Prabowo’s statement at the Full Cabinet Session at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta on Monday (20 July). On that occasion, Prabowo said the government had resolved more than 108 issues during the 18 months of his administration.

“Perhaps our latest count is more than 108 issues, 110 issues that we have resolved in a little over a year, 18 months of our government. This is no small achievement,” said Prabowo.

Prabowo stressed that this achievement must not make the government complacent. According to him, humility must continue to be maintained in running the government. In addition, Prabowo also highlighted the transformation carried out by Danantara Indonesia. Of a total of 1,077 SOE entities, around 250 entities have been consolidated through restructuring in the first 18 months of the administration. This step is said to have successfully generated efficiencies of up to Rp 50 trillion.

In response, Fariza assessed that the President’s public communication serves not only as direction for the cabinet, but also functions to build public trust and optimism in the direction of national development.

“President Prabowo continues to kindle the nation’s flame of hope through policies that strengthen the national economy and can be implemented in a real way, not merely scattering hope,” said Fariza in a written statement on Thursday (23 July 2026).

In Fariza’s view, President Prabowo’s briefing at the cabinet session carries strategic meaning from a public communication perspective. According to him, the President’s message is directed not only as internal guidance to the cabinet, but also as an effort to build public trust, hope and optimism in the direction of national development.

“As a student of communication and management, I assess that what President Prabowo conveyed is a form of effective leadership communication. The President does not merely communicate the government’s achievements and targets, but also builds public confidence that this nation has a clear direction, an increasingly strong economic foundation, and a future worth fighting for. This is how a leader gives optimism to the public through honest, measurable communication grounded in real work,” said Fariza.

Fariza previously served as Special Staff and Expert in the fields of Communication and Public Relations at several ministries and institutions, such as the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform, the Coordinating Ministry for Political, Legal and Security Affairs, the National Police Traffic Corps, and currently assists the Halal Product Assurance Organising Body (BPJPH) as an Expert in Communication and Public Relations.

On the other hand, Fariza also conveyed his appreciation to Rosan P Roeslani as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Danantara Indonesia, who has succeeded in translating the President’s directives into measurable transformation programmes with real impact.

“Danantara’s success in consolidating state-owned companies reflects the leadership of Pak Rosan Roeslani, who is able to execute President Prabowo’s vision. This step is an important milestone in building SOEs for the future,” he said.

Fariza also commended President Prabowo’s policy of allocating more than one million free halal certificate (SEHATI) quotas for Micro and Small Enterprises (UMK) in 2026. According to him, the policy implemented by the Halal Product Assurance Organising Body under the leadership of Babe Haikal has helped improve the competitiveness and welfare of UMK players, of whom more than 3 million now hold halal certificates.

In addition, around 120,000 Halal Product Process Assistants (P3H) have also received incentives, even reaching the equivalent of one Provincial Minimum Wage (UMR), for their role in assisting UMKs with halal certification.

“This also proves that President Prabowo is not all talk — but Walk The Talk, doing what he says,” Fariza concluded.
