Expert Appreciates Prabowo's Consistency in Delivering on Work Promises

Public communication and management expert Dr. M. Fariza Y. Irawady has expressed appreciation for President Prabowo Subianto’s public communication, which continues to spread hope for the nation while proving that it is not empty hope but can be implemented through real performance. Fariza made these remarks in response to President Prabowo’s statement during a Plenary Cabinet Session at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, on Monday (20/7). On that occasion, Prabowo stated that the government had resolved more than 108 issues during its 18 months in office. “Perhaps our latest count is more than 108 issues, 110 issues that we have resolved in over a year, 18 months of our administration. This is no small achievement,” Prabowo said. Prabowo stressed that these achievements should not lead to complacency. He said a humble attitude must be maintained in running the government. In addition, Prabowo highlighted the transformation carried out by Danantara Indonesia. Out of a total of 1,077 state-owned enterprise entities, around 250 entities have been consolidated through restructuring in the first 18 months of the administration. This move reportedly resulted in efficiency gains of up to Rp 50 trillion. Responding to this, Fariza assessed that the President’s public communication not only provides direction for cabinet members but also serves to build public trust and optimism regarding the direction of national development. “President Prabowo continues to ignite the nation’s hope through policies that strengthen the national economy and can be implemented concretely, not just spreading hope,” Fariza said in a written statement on Thursday (23/7/2026). Fariza assessed that the President’s briefing at the cabinet session held strategic meaning from a public communication perspective. He said the message conveyed by the President was not only intended as internal direction for cabinet members but also as an effort to build public trust, hope, and optimism regarding the direction of national development. “As a student of communication and management, I assess that what President Prabowo conveyed is a form of effective leadership communication. The President not only conveyed the government’s achievements and targets but also built public confidence that this nation has a clear direction, an increasingly strong economic foundation, and a future worth fighting for. This is the way a leader provides optimism to the public through honest, measured, and work-based communication,” Fariza said. Fariza previously served as Special Staff and Expert in Communication and Public Relations at several ministries and institutions, such as the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform, the Coordinating Ministry for Political, Legal and Security Affairs, and the National Police Traffic Corps, and is currently assisting the Halal Product Assurance Agency (BPJPH) as a Communication and Public Relations Expert. On the other hand, Fariza also expressed appreciation to Rosan P. Roeslani as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Danantara Indonesia, who successfully translated the President’s directives into a measurable and impactful transformation programme. “The success of Danantara in consolidating state-owned companies reflects the leadership of Mr Rosan Roeslani, who is able to execute President Prabowo’s vision. This step is an important milestone in building state-owned enterprises going forward,” he said. Fariza also appreciated President Prabowo’s policy of allocating more than one million free halal certification quotas (SEHATI) for Micro and Small Enterprises (UMK) in 2026. According to him, the policy implemented by the Halal Product Assurance Agency, with Babe Haikal at the helm, has helped improve the competitiveness and welfare of UMK actors, with more than 3 million now holding halal certificates. In addition, around 120,000 Halal Product Process Assistants (P3H) have also received incentives, even reaching the equivalent of one Regional Minimum Wage (UMR) for their role in assisting UMKs to process halal certification. “This also proves that President Prabowo is not just all talk, but walks the talk, doing what he says,” Fariza concluded.
