Education is very expensive today and unaffordable to many, so that a large number of children drop out of school. Actually, the state should be responsible for providing education as a basic right of every citizen.

At present, our education system is based on capitalism, with schools serving as a means of making a profit. Under the Islamic system, education is faith- and knowledge-based, and thus does not face the dichotomy found under a secular system.

Besides science and technology, the main target of an Islam- based educational system is religious faith as the foundation of individual knowledge in embodying an Islamic identity, principles and attitude.

In adopting an Islamic educational system, the state will pay greater attention to education for the benefit of society, and the cost of education will not be raised for the sake of profit, because the pursuit of knowledge will be compulsory.
