LT AMAN Corpora Group Indonesia (AMAN Group) announced a strategic portfolio transformation, strengthening investments in the New and Renewable Energy sector, specifically in developing and owning Waste-to-Energy (WtE) assets. Chairman James Karnadi said the move marks a shift in AMAN’s business model toward an asset-based revenue structure anchored in long-term infrastructure.

‘Starting now, AMAN holds investment contracts and ownership in several entities engaged in developing WtE facilities at commercial scale,’ Karnadi said in a written statement from Jakarta on Thursday, 5 March 2026.

Karnadi noted the investments cover projects converting waste into energy using thermal technology and bioenergy, with integration of international technology from Chinese and European partners. He explained the investment structure is designed to be underpinned by robust underlying assets with long-term revenue streams.

‘From the 2025 financial year onwards, AMAN targets around 20 percent of total consolidated revenue to come from returns on renewable energy assets,’ he said.

Karnadi said the repositioning is aimed at improving cash flow stability, strengthening resilience against business cycle volatility, and accumulating infrastructure assets with long-term strategic value. In line with strengthening exposure to renewables, he added, AMAN is also preparing expansion into Nature-Based Solutions and Green Carbon Markets.

‘This initiative includes the development of ecosystem restoration and rehabilitation projects, creation of nature-based carbon assets, and monetisation of verified carbon credits within the framework of the green carbon market,’ Karnadi continued.

He said an official platform for this business line would be announced in the near future. Karnadi noted the transformation is part of a long-term strategy to build a foundation of future, stable, sustainable assets.

According to him, renewable energy and nature-based solutions are no longer optional. He views this as part of a global economy that continues to evolve.

‘With greater investment in WtE and expansion into green carbon markets, AMAN reiterates the company’s commitment to disciplined growth, asset-based, and long-term oriented,’ Karnadi said.
