The death of a man named Sutrimo, identified as a former worker at the residence of the former Head of Special Crimes Division (Jampidsus) Febritra Adriansyah, has been attributed to ischaemic heart disease. This conclusion follows the results of an exhumation conducted by a team of forensic doctors on Sutrimo’s remains.

“The late Mr Sutrimo passed away due to ischaemic heart disease,” stated the Head of the Exhumation Team, Ahmad Yudianto, during a press conference on Wednesday (30/9).

Yudianto also addressed the presence of white foam exiting Sutrimo’s mouth when he was found unconscious, explaining that it was related to acute pulmonary oedema.

“The foam observed on the victim was caused by acute pulmonary oedema, which can be caused by fluid and mucus in the lungs. This leads to obstructed airways, causing the substance to be agitated and emerge as white foam; this is one of the known causes for such foam to appear,” he explained.

Polda Metro Jaya previously stated that no elements of criminal activity had been found in the case of Sutrimo’s death.

The Deputy Director of General Criminal Investigation at Polda Metro Jaya, AKBP I Dewa Anom Danujaya, stated that this conclusion was based on witness testimonies, exhumation results, and findings from the Indonesian National Police Forensic Laboratory (Puslabfor).

“Based on the facts collected and analysed, investigators have concluded that no evidence has been found to indicate criminal activity in the death of Mr Sutrimo,” said Anom during a press conference at Polda Metro Jaya on Wednesday (30/9).

It is known that Sutrimo passed away last Thursday (23/7). He was found unconscious in the courtyard of the Mordent Clinic, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, and was subsequently transported to Muhammadiyah Taman Puring Hospital via ambulance.
