Exhibitors hold expo
JAKARTA (JP): More than 50 convention and exhibition companies will take part in a four day exhibition, called Indoshop '94, at the Jakarta Fair grounds beginning on Nov. 4.
The chairman of the exhibition's organizing committee, Robert Felix, told reporters yesterday that the participants will include convention organizers, suppliers of exhibition materials, stand contractors and freight forwarders.
He said the Rp 500 million (US$230,530) event, organized by the Indonesian Exhibition and Convention Association, will attract executives of private companies, foreign embassy officials and organization leaders.
He said the number of national and international exhibitions held in Indonesia, which increased from 72 in 1992 to 99 last year, is expected to rise to 150 this year. (yns)
