Execution Process Underway, Hotel Sultan Breakfast Served Until Noon

The execution process at Hotel Sultan was still ongoing as of midday Thursday. Breakfast at the hotel restaurant remained served while bailiffs from the Central Jakarta District Court carried out the execution. Based on detikcom’s observations at the location on Thursday (18/6/2026), the morning meal spread was still available and neatly arranged until around 12.00 WIB. Traditional fare such as soto and local market cakes were on offer. Western-style food including salads, breads, sausages and cereals was also present, with most of it still largely untouched. Juice dispensers containing orange and watermelon juice were still half full. GBK officials were then seen taking inventory of the area. The Central Jakarta District Court is executing the former Hotel Sultan site following the conclusion of a dispute ruling. Bailiffs from the court and management staff from the Gelora Bung Karno complex entered the hotel as part of the execution. According to detikcom’s monitoring at Hotel Sultan, GBK, Central Jakarta, on Thursday (18/6/2026), officers began entering at around 10.10 WIB, accompanied by police. A number of police officers carrying shields and other full equipment were seen entering Hotel Sultan. Police personnel maintained a tight guard around the hotel lobby. Meanwhile, the hotel reception desk appeared empty. GBK staff crowded around it, while several other officers were seen locking a number of the hotel’s glass doors. As officers entered, several guests were still visible inside the hotel. A number of adults and small children had just come down from the upper floors. Several policewomen then assisted residents in exiting the hotel. They left slowly while carrying suitcases.
