Exclusive: Housing Minister Confirms 141,000 Subsidised Flats at Meikarta

Housing and Settlement Minister Maruarar Sirait has affirmed the security guarantees and legal certainty surrounding the planned construction of 141,000 subsidised housing units in the Meikarta area.

He stated that the plan has received approval from the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK). Furthermore, coordination has been carried out with the local government to ensure that the construction of subsidised housing at Meikarta does not contravene the prevailing moratorium policy. In addition, consolidation with relevant private sector parties has also been undertaken as part of efforts to ensure the smooth realisation of the programme.
