Exchange program to be set up

JAKARTA (JP): Indonesia and Malaysia have agreed to start a
program to exchange educational staff, students and academicians.

The memorandum of agreement was signed here yesterday by
Indonesian Minister of Education and Culture Juwono Sudarsono (right)
and his Malaysian counterpart Dato' Sri Mohd. Bin Tun Abdul Razak
(second right).

Spokesman for Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture,
Shofyanis, said the program would allow students and academicians
from the two countries to conduct joint researches, training
academic publication.

Furthermore, universities from the two countries will conduct
exchange in academic publications, research results and study the
possibility for credit transfer. (46)
