Excellent! United Tractors Group Achieves Green and Blue PROPER Ratings for 2025 from KLH
The United Tractors Group has once again demonstrated its commitment to environmental sustainability by achieving Green and Blue ratings in the Company Performance Rating Programme for Environmental Management (PROPER) for the 2024-2025 period. The companies earning the Green rating are PT Asmin Bara Bronang (ABB), PT Bhumi Jati Power (BJP), and PT Suprabari Mapanindo Mineral (SMM), while PT United Tractors Semen Gresik (UTSG), PT Energia Prima Nusantara (EPN), PT Telen Orbit Prima (TOP), and PT Supreme Energy Rantau Dedap (SERD) received the Blue rating.
The award, organised by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry, was presented at the PROPER Awards ceremony held at Sasono Langen Budoyo in Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII), East Jakarta, and attended by the Minister of Environment, Hanif Faisol Nurofiq.
Hanif expressed appreciation to all participating companies in PROPER. He emphasised that the Green rating reflects the business world’s contribution to preserving the living environment.
“To the companies achieving the Green rating, we appreciate the various beyond-compliance efforts that have provided tangible benefits to the ecosystem and surrounding communities. This is an example of environmental leadership that deserves recognition,” Hanif stated, as quoted on Thursday (9/4/2026).
“PROPER is no longer merely an administrative evaluation instrument but has evolved into a driver of transformation that encourages companies not only to comply with regulations but also to exceed standards through innovation, resource efficiency, and sustainable contributions to society,” Hanif added.
Head of Corporate Communications and Sustainability Division at UT, Dianwahyu Sri Purnomo, stated that this achievement represents the United Tractors Group’s ongoing commitment to managing the environment responsibly.
“This PROPER Green rating achievement reflects our efforts to exceed compliance standards through the implementation of an integrated environmental management system. We believe this not only supports the company’s operational sustainability but also adds value for society and all stakeholders,” Dianwahyu said.
For the 2024-2025 assessment period, the United Tractors Group achieved the Green rating, indicating that the companies exceed compliance standards and consistently apply a systematic and sustainable environmental management system. This achievement also affirms UT’s consistency in practising environmentally responsible business.
The PROPER assessment criteria cover various aspects, including efficiency in resource use such as water and energy, emission control, management of hazardous and non-hazardous waste, protection of biodiversity, and community empowerment in operational areas.
“The United Tractors Group’s participation in PROPER is part of the company’s commitment to regulatory compliance as well as integrated environmental risk management in operational activities. Moving forward, UT is committed to continuously improving environmental management performance and actively contributing to sustainable development in Indonesia,” she concluded.
