Excellent! TASPEN Sends Thousands of Mudik Travellers to Various Cities
Jakarta – PT TASPEN (Persero) has reaffirmed its commitment to social responsibility through the “Comfortable Mudik Together with TASPEN 2026” programme.
For this initiative, TASPEN has dispatched 35 bus fleets serving various routes across Java and Sumatra, transporting a total of 1,400 mudik travellers. The bus fleets launched from several locations including Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) and TASPEN Head Office in Jakarta.
As part of the broader Free Mudik State-Owned Enterprise initiative, this programme aims to facilitate the public in returning to their home towns safely and comfortably during Eid al-Fitr 1447 H celebrations.
Through this programme, TASPEN provides complimentary transportation facilities for members of the public wishing to celebrate Eid with their families. To ensure service quality, each fleet has been meticulously prepared and equipped with travel companions.
All mudik participants also receive life and personal accident insurance protection from Taspen Life in the form of Taspen Group Personal Accident coverage with insurance value (UP) of IDR 20 million per participant, ensuring journeys are safe, comfortable, and orderly until reaching their destination.
TASPEN’s Corporate Secretary, Henra, stated: “The Comfortable Mudik Together with TASPEN 2026 programme represents TASPEN’s tangible presence for our stakeholders, including the Indonesian public. Therefore, we not only provide transportation facilities but also ensure every mudik traveller feels reassured during their journey with accompaniment and life insurance from our business group, Taspen Life.”
Furthermore, TASPEN is expanding the programme’s reach by providing 15 bus units for employees within various ministries. This allocation includes 5 units for the State Secretariat Ministry, followed by TASPEN’s support for the Ministry of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform, Ministry of Human Rights, Ministry of Labour, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the National Development Planning Agency (each receiving 2 buses). This collaboration underscores TASPEN’s role in building inter-agency synergy to support more orderly public mobility during Eid al-Fitr 1447 H.
The bus fleets in this year’s mudik programme have been designed to serve major destination cities popular among mudik travellers, including Semarang (via northern route), Yogyakarta (via southern and central routes), Madiun (via Cipali Toll Road), Malang (via Yogyakarta and central route), Solo-Sragen, Surabaya (via northern route), Padang, and Jambi.
Beyond transportation facilities, TASPEN has prepared various forms of support for mudik participants including merchandise and travel supplies such as participant t-shirts and caps, tumblers, umbrellas, and paper bags. The organising committee has also arranged light medical packages including warming oils, anti-motion sickness medication, and other health supplies to support traveller comfort during the journey.
Through this mudik programme, TASPEN endeavours to present an initiative that provides added value and positive impact for the public. This not only supports the smooth conduct of public mudik travel but also strengthens TASPEN’s role as a Centre of Excellence in managing social security for state apparatus personnel, consistently prioritising excellent service, cross-institutional collaboration, and sustained contribution to the welfare of the Indonesian people.
