Exam results invalidated

PEKANBARU, Riau: The provincial education office has
invalidated the results of examinations held at local junior high
schools from May 13 to May 15 following reports of leakage of
test materials.

Antara reported that the head of the local education office
O.K. Ni Zamil said that all Pekanbaru junior high students will
take fresh tests in natural science, English and math from May 30
to June 1.

Spokesman for the provincial administration Nazief Soesila
Dharma said Governor Soeripto has been informed of the incident.

There are a total of 54 state-owned junior high schools in
Pekanbaru. (swe)
