Ex-Wife of Taufik Hidayat, Alleged Captor and Torturer of YTR, Makes Shocking Confession

Bandung – The arrest of Taufik Hidayat (30) in the case of alleged false imprisonment and torture against YTR (29) has begun to reveal shocking new facts. Police are now investigating the suspicion that Yuvita was not the only woman to have been a victim of the suspect’s violence. During the case development, investigators found information that Taufik’s former wife was also suspected of having experienced similar treatment while she was in a relationship with the man. The Head of Public Relations for the West Java Regional Police, Senior Commissioner Hendra Rochmawan, stated that his party had communicated with and confirmed the matter with the suspect’s former wife. “The one we met was his long-term former wife, who has already separated. Nevertheless, police are still investigating the extent of the violence experienced by Taufik Hidayat’s former wife and whether there are other victims with similar experiences. Therefore, the police are urging anyone who feels they have been a victim or has information related to the suspect’s behaviour to report it immediately. “For now, we are still waiting for further information regarding other victims. If there are other victims, please report it,” he said. It was previously reported that the flight of Taufik Hidayat (30), the man suspected of falsely imprisoning and torturing his own girlfriend for three years in Bandung, has finally been halted. After being a fugitive hunted by a joint team from the West Java Regional Police, the suspect was successfully apprehended by police. This arrest marks a crucial point in the investigation of a case that has recently drawn significant public attention. The victim, identified as YTR (29), was found in a distressing condition with a number of severe injuries suspected to be the result of prolonged violence.
