Evidence Submitted as Daughter of Author Ahmad Bahar Undergoes Questioning Regarding Hercules Case
The Metro Jaya Regional Police have scheduled an interrogation for Ilma Sani Fitriana, the daughter of author Ahmad Bahar, regarding her report against the Chairman of the United Indonesian People Movement (GRIB) Jaya, Hercules Rosario Marshal, concerning alleged unlawful detention on Tuesday (2/6).
Ilma will provide her statement as the complainant and victim to investigators from the Sub-directorate of State Security (Kamneg) of the Metro Jaya Regional Police Criminal Investigation Directorate.
“Alhamdulillah, today we will accompany Ms Ilma to provide clarification as the victim in the alleged hostage-taking case that occurred on Sunday, 17 May 2026,” said Ilma’s legal counsel, Gufroni, at the Metro Jaya Regional Police headquarters. He added that the report involves Hercules and several GRIB Jaya officials who allegedly engaged in persecution and intimidation, resulting in Ilma being forcibly taken from her home in Cimanggis, Depok, to the GRIB headquarters in Kedoya.
Gufroni stated that his team has brought several pieces of evidence to be submitted to investigators regarding the alleged criminal acts by Hercules. This includes video footage showing Ahmad Bahar being flanked by two individuals wearing black masks. “In this video, it clearly looks as though Ahmad Bahar is being treated like a thief caught in the act. We will submit this video as part of the sequence of events, even though this specific footage was recorded the previous Friday,” he explained.
Other evidence includes photographs taken before Ilma was taken by GRIB Jaya members from her residence. Gufroni noted that members of GRIB Jaya allegedly intimidated the household from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Sunday in an attempt to take Ahmad Bahar; when he was unavailable, they entered the house and allegedly took his daughter hostage.
Previously, Hercules Rosario Marshal was reported to the Metro Jaya Regional Police following the report filed by Ilma and her lawyer on Friday (22/5). In addition to the alleged detention, Ilma also reported WhatsApp hacking. The report is registered under number LP/B/3679/V/2026/SPKT/POLDA METRO JAYA.
In response, GRIB Jaya has filed a counter-report against Ilma Sani Fitriana and others to the Metro Jaya Regional Police on Monday (25/5). The counter-report, registered under number LP/B/3749/V/2026/SPKT POLDA METRO JAYA, alleges that Ilma is involved in spreading false information under Article 264 of the Criminal Code and Law Number 1 of 2023 regarding the dissemination of fake news.
