Wuling Motors has won a Silver award at the Chinese WOW Brand in Indonesia 2026 event, organised by MarkPlus, Inc. in collaboration with Kotler Marketing Group (KMG). The award is given to Chinese-origin brands deemed successful in building strong relationships with consumers in the Indonesian market.

This accolade reflects the strengthening acceptance of Indonesian consumers towards Chinese automotive brands amid increasingly competitive national vehicle industry dynamics. The evaluation was based on customer loyalty and recommendation levels through the Brand Advocacy Ratio (BAR) approach.

Brand Communication Senior Manager of Wuling Motors, Brian Gomgom, stated that the award serves as motivation for the company to continue delivering products and services relevant to societal needs.

“We express our gratitude to MarkPlus and Kotler Marketing Group for this award. This achievement motivates us to continue presenting products and services that align with the mobility needs of the community. In line with the spirit of ‘Wuling Built in Indonesia for You’, we will continue to strive our best to provide a modern and comfortable driving experience for Indonesian families,” said Brian Gomgom.

The Chinese WOW Brand in Indonesia event is an extension of the Indonesia WOW Brand, which has been running for over a decade. The award assesses a brand’s ability to build relationships with customers through loyalty and consumer recommendation levels in the Indonesian market.

The evaluation was conducted via an online survey from December 2025 to January 2026, involving 100 product categories and 300 respondents per category from various regions in Indonesia. The measurement used the 5A Customer Path approach, namely Aware, Appeal, Ask, Act, and Advocate.

This achievement is also seen as aligned with Wuling’s strategy in introducing various vehicle innovations in Indonesia, including the development of electrified vehicles. Currently, Wuling offers a line of internal combustion engine (ICE)-based vehicles, hybrids, electric vehicles (EV), plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV), and commercial vehicles.

In recent years, Wuling has actively expanded the electrified vehicle market in Indonesia through technology development and smart features aimed at supporting community mobility. In addition to products, the company has also strengthened after-sales services through the expansion of dealer networks and service centres in various regions.

These steps are part of Wuling’s efforts to enhance vehicle ownership experiences while maintaining consumer trust amid the growth of the national automotive market.
