PT VKTR Teknologi Mobilitas Tbk (VKTR), an electric vehicle manufacturer, projects that revenue from its electric vehicle (EV) segment will increase in 2026. This growth is supported in part by the completion of the remaining 30 units for Transjakarta that are scheduled for early 2026.

Chief Executive Officer Ardiansyah Bakrie stated that by the end of 2025, the company had completed delivery of 50 electric buses to Transjakarta operator, as part of a total order of 80 units. The remaining 30 units have completed the chassis assembly stage.

“In line with consistent growth milestones year-on-year, ranging from the pioneering phase of electric vehicle assembly based on Completely Knocked Down (CKD) components, achievement of local content above 40 per cent, to the expansion of the electric bus and truck portfolio, the company demonstrates accelerating performance both operationally and financially,” said Bakrie in a statement on Friday, 27 February 2026.

Overall, in early 2026, VKTR is projected to supply a total of 152 electric buses from the total electric bus fleet operating for Transjakarta. This figure is equivalent to approximately 30 per cent of Transjakarta’s electric bus fleet.

Bakrie claimed that the company recorded sustained growth in electric vehicle sales year-on-year. Through December 2025, VKTR sold 69 units of electric vehicles consisting of 53 buses, 10 trucks, and 6 forklifts to various private companies across industries.

Thus, the cumulative total of electric vehicle sales by VKTR completed since its inception through the end of 2025 reached 135 electric buses, 24 electric trucks, and 13 forklifts.

In early 2026, VKTR stated that it had received purchase orders for electric buses from a leading real estate development company in Jakarta and orders from an intercity transport company in Malang.

Additionally, the company is currently producing 2 electric shuttle buses for an educational institution in Central Java with a target delivery at the end of the second quarter of 2026.

On the business side in 2025, Bakrie explained that VKTR recorded revenue growth of 8.5 per cent year-on-year to Rp1.08 trillion in 2025, compared to Rp1.004 trillion in 2024.

On the financial position side, VKTR’s total assets grew 11.8 per cent year-on-year to Rp1.79 trillion in 2025, from Rp1.6 trillion in 2024, driven by increases in advance payments related to electric vehicle sales projects not yet recognised as revenue, which was balanced by additions to fixed assets.
