ETLE Precision Drone Patrol Monitors Traffic on Sukaraja-Sukabumi Route Ahead of Operasi Ketupat 2026
The National Traffic Police Corps (Korlantas Polri) is optimising traffic flow monitoring along the Sukaraja-Sukabumi main road through the deployment of ETLE Precision Drone Patrols. The monitoring is being conducted in support of preparations for Operasi Ketupat 2026.
The initiative forms part of Korlantas Polri’s comprehensive strategy to ensure stable vehicle movement along one of the vital corridors connecting Sukabumi Regency and Sukabumi City.
Under the direction of Korlantas Polri chief Inspector General Agus Suryonugroho, the operation represents a strengthening of technology-based traffic management. The Sukaraja-Sukabumi route is characterised by dynamic traffic flows, with high levels of daily commuter mobility, logistics distribution, and economic activity, necessitating a precise and responsive monitoring system.
The monitoring operation is coordinated and supervised by Korlantas Polri’s Director of Law Enforcement, Brigadier General Faizal, with technical control by the Head of the Enforcement Sub-directorate, Commissioner Dwi Sumrahadi Rakhmanto. This collaboration ensures that every monitoring process is systematic, measurable, and based on real-time visual data as the foundation for traffic situation analysis.
Through ETLE drone flights at strategic points, officers obtain a comprehensive picture of vehicle volumes, traffic density, movement patterns, and potential slowdowns at traffic nodes. The aerial perspective provides broad and flexible monitoring coverage, enabling traffic dynamics to be mapped accurately without disrupting road users.
