ETLE Drone Patrol Precision Becomes New Reliance for Korlantas to Monitor Odd-Even Violations
The ETLE Drone Patrol Precision was deployed to monitor traffic flow and enforce odd-even regulations in the Jalan Fatmawati area, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (2/6/2026) at 08:00 WIB. Surveillance is conducted in real-time from the air, supported by Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) technology, which is capable of automatically reading and identifying vehicle licence plates.
Through this technology, the ETLE Drone Patrol Precision can detect vehicles that do not comply with odd-even regulations without the need for direct vehicle stops by officers on the ground. This system enables the monitoring and enforcement process to be faster, more accurate, and more efficient in supporting electronic-based traffic law enforcement.
Based on monitoring results, traffic conditions in the Jalan Fatmawati area were observed to be flowing smoothly during the morning rush hour. Despite an increase in vehicle volume alongside morning commuting activities, the traffic situation remained controlled. During the operation, the ETLE Drone Patrol Precision also detected several four-wheeled vehicles violating the odd-even regulations, which were subsequently processed through the ETLE mechanism.
In his statement, the Head of the Indonesian National Police Traffic Corps, Inspector General Agus Suryonugroho, stated that the use of the ETLE Drone Patrol Precision is part of Korlantas Polri’s commitment to providing modern, transparent, and technology-based traffic services and law enforcement.
Meanwhile, the Director of Legal Affairs of Korlantas Polri, Brigadier General Faizal, explained that the presence of the ETLE Drone Patrol Precision will further strengthen the effectiveness of traffic surveillance, particularly in odd-even zones and areas with high vehicle mobility.
Korlantas Polri urges all road users to consistently obey traffic regulations, including odd-even provisions, to support the creation of security, safety, order, and smoothness of traffic on the highways.
