Etiquette course opens to public

YOGYAKARTA: Following a successful conclusion to a recent
etiquette course for children, Novotel Hotel Yogyakarta is now
offering the same course for students and the public on Aug. 28
from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

"The course will be led by professional etiquette
instructors," Novotel public relations assistant manager Dyah
Retno Wikan said, adding that the course was designed to teach
internationally recognized table manners.

Dining etiquette and basic knowledge on wine and its service
form the key components of the course.

"We consider this important, because many still think
negatively of wine, disregarding its positive elements ... when
arranged appropriately with food," Dyah said.

Each course participant will receive a reference book and a
certificate upon the completion of the course. Registration for
the course closes on Aug. 26. Further information is available at
