Ethics Council to Question Bone Council Speaker Over Alleged Cake-Throwing Incident

The Bone Regency Council’s Ethics Board (BK) will summon its speaker, Andi Tenri Walinonong, for clarification following a police report alleging she threw a cake at the face of her staff member, Yuli Nofita Sari (29). The incident reportedly occurred in the council canteen on Wednesday (22/7/2026) at around 2:30 p.m. local time, with the victim claiming she was also struck with a bottle.

BK Chairman Bahtiar Malla stated that while no formal complaint has been received by the board, the widespread public discussion of the case provides sufficient grounds to begin an initial inquiry. He explained that the board will first study the matter and will summon both parties involved to seek clarification and gather evidence.

Bahtiar noted that he could not yet categorise the alleged act as an ethics violation, as the board is still in the preliminary review stage and requires witness testimony and proof. He encouraged the victim or members of the public to submit a formal report to the BK to enable a full procedural investigation. Despite the lack of a formal complaint, he confirmed the case remains a priority due to public attention and that the board will also attempt to mediate a family-like resolution while hearing the speaker’s response.
