Estrada's son seeks new judge
PHILIPPINES: A son of deposed Philippines president Joseph Estrada on Sunday demanded a new trial for his father, accusing the judge of bias.
Joseph Victor Ejercito urged Sandiganbayan anti-graft court judge Anacleto Badoy to remove himself from the case "if he has some sense of decency."
Ejercito claimed that "for him (Badoy), my father is already convicted.
"He has already promised some groups of the so-called civil society to find my father guilty of the charges against him."
Estrada has been detained at a military hospital in suburban Manila since May, four months after a military-backed popular revolt chased him out of the presidential palace. --AFP
