Essential Goods and LPG Stocks in Wonogiri Sufficient Until Eid
The supply of essential goods and LPG in Wonogiri Regency, Central Java, is confirmed to be sufficient until Eid al-Fitr 2026. This was based on the results of a surprise inspection carried out by the Wonogiri Regional Leadership Forum together with the Surakarta Logistics Agency (Bulog) at several points in the area on Wednesday, February 25, 2026.
The Head of the Surakarta Bulog Branch, Nanang Harianto, said that the inspection was carried out together with the Wonogiri Regional Leadership Forum, including the Regent of Wonogiri, Setyo Sukarno, Deputy Regent Imron Rizkyarno, Head of the Wonogiri Police, Commissioner Wahyu Sulistyo, the TNI, the Public Prosecutor’s Office, the District Court, and representatives from Bank Indonesia.
“The rice stock at the Wonogiri Bulog warehouse is confirmed to be sufficient until Eid al-Fitr. Currently, there are approximately 3,000 tons, which are being distributed to all sub-districts. There is also ongoing procurement of corn from local farmers,” said Nanang when contacted by telephone on Thursday, February 26, 2026.
The Head of the Wonogiri Police, Wahyu Sulistyo, said that the inspection was carried out at several strategic points, starting in the morning at the Wonogiri City Market. In addition to the relatively safe stock, distribution was smooth and prices were relatively stable.
“Based on monitoring at the market, the availability of rice, sugar, cooking oil, chicken eggs, chicken meat, beef, shallots, garlic, and chilies is sufficient,” said Wahyu to reporters on Wednesday, February 25, 2026.
He added that several horticultural commodities were monitored to experience price fluctuations that were still within reasonable limits. Large curly red chilies fell from IDR 38,000 to IDR 26,000 per kilogram. Small red chilies fell from IDR 80,000 to IDR 75,000 per kilogram.
“Traders ensured that distribution from supplier areas was still running smoothly. The Regional Leadership Forum also found no indication of shortages or hoarding practices,” said Wahyu.
The stock of Government Rice Reserves (CBP) at the Wonogiri Bulog warehouse is 1,346,179.50 kilograms and corn is 466,750 kilograms.
The distribution of SPHP rice is running according to the mechanism and is ready to be distributed if there is a surge in prices. The quality of storage and the condition of the commodities are declared to be good and suitable for consumption.
Based on monitoring at the Kartika Dharma Ngadirojo SPBE, he said that the stock of 3-kilogram LPG is confirmed to be sufficient to meet community needs until Eid al-Fitr. The price at the distribution point is in accordance with the Highest Retail Price (HET) of IDR 18,000 per tube. “No distribution deviations were found,” he said.
