Students of Sekolah Rakyat for the 2026/2027 academic year are confirmed to undergo Talent DNA tests through 100,000 quotas provided by the Ministry of Social Affairs in collaboration with ESQ Corp. The test aims to identify the talents and interests of each student. The assessment is expected to help students recognise their potential and receive mentoring suited to their respective talents and characters. ESQ Corp Founder Ary Ginanjar stated that developing the talents of Sekolah Rakyat students is part of realising the strengthening of the talent ecosystem as a component of the Golden Indonesia 2045 vision. This was conveyed during an audience with Minister of Social Affairs Saifullah Yusuf and Deputy Minister of Social Affairs Agus Jabo Priyono at the Ministry of Social Affairs office on Monday (13/7). Over the past year, ESQ has followed the development of Sekolah Rakyat through Talent DNA mapping of students, teachers, and headmasters. Ary said this experience demonstrates the importance of talent mapping for every child. ‘I am confident that all other Indonesian children can also find their future,’ said Ary. ESQ Senior Consultant Diana presented the mapping results for Sekolah Rakyat students, which showed that students possess strengths in sincerity, perfectionism, equality, forgiveness, and harmony. Meanwhile, aspects that still need strengthening include intuitive ability, self-confidence, assertiveness, directing ability, and explanatory skills. In addition to talent mapping, ESQ also introduced the AI Coaching Talenta Sekolah Rakyat concept, designed as a personal and sustainable self-development companion for students. ‘This is the advantage of Sekolah Rakyat. In Sekolah Rakyat, every person is valuable according to their talent,’ said Diana. Responding to the presentation, the Social Affairs Minister expressed support for the AI Coaching Talenta concept and proposed that the message become the identity of Sekolah Rakyat. ‘That is good, because in Sekolah Rakyat every student is valuable,’ concluded Gus Ipul. Sekolah Rakyat will commence its School Environment Introduction Period at 19 locations with a total of 5,130 new students on 14 July 2026, with numbers set to increase gradually. The Ministry of Social Affairs is targeting 45,000 students for the 2026/2027 academic year.
