Erwin Ciputra Buys Rp 1.36 Billion Worth of Shares in Prajogo's Company (PTRO)
Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia — PT Petrosea Tbk (PTRO) commissioner Erwin Ciputra was observed purchasing Rp1.36 billion worth of PTRO shares on 13 March 2026. Erwin Ciputra, who is also the President Director of PT Chandra Asri Pacific Tbk (TPIA), a company owned by Prajogo Pangestu, acquired 300,000 PTRO shares at a price of Rp4,520 per share. “The purpose of the transaction is investment, with direct ownership status,” as quoted from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) disclosure on Wednesday (25/3/2026). Prior to this action, Erwin held 11,054,000 shares with voting rights of 0.1096% of the total outstanding shares. Afterwards, the number of shares he owns increased to 11,354,000 units with voting rights of 0.1126%. This is not the first time Erwin has increased his shareholding. He previously added 400,000 shares on 26 January 2026. According to the BEI disclosure, that purchase transaction occurred when PTRO’s share price was at Rp9,138 per share. This transaction is not related to a share repurchase agreement and was conducted with direct ownership status. As such, his shareholding increased to 11,054,000 shares or equivalent to 0.1096% voting rights in the company from previously 10,654,000 shares or equivalent to 0.1056% of the total outstanding shares. Following this news, PTRO shares rose 9.95% to Rp4,750 at the close of the first trading session today. Its market capitalisation reached Rp47.88 trillion.
