INFOBRAND.ID, Jakarta – A subsidiary of PT Erajaya Swasembada Tbk, namely PT Sinar Eka Selaras Tbk (ERAL), has formed a joint venture to develop the LED display business in Indonesia. This collaboration is undertaken with Pan Asia Indonesia Limited by establishing a new entity named PT Mega Cahaya Indonesia (MCI). The joint venture company will focus on providing products and supporting services in the visual technology sector, including the trading of LED displays, videowalls, and smartboards. This step is part of the business expansion carried out by the Erajaya Group through its subsidiaries. Head of Legal & Corporate Secretary of ERAA, Amelia Allen, stated that the process of forming the joint venture has been completed and is legally valid. “Thus, the formation of the joint venture between the transacting parties has been finalised and declared valid as of 1 April 2026,” she said in a disclosure on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, Tuesday (7/4). The investment value for establishing PT Mega Cahaya Indonesia amounts to Rp10.1 billion. The funding is entirely sourced from the internal cash of each party, namely ERAL and Pan Asia Indonesia Limited. In the ownership structure, ERAL holds the majority stake of 70 per cent, equivalent to 7,070 shares or valued at Rp7.07 billion. Meanwhile, Pan Asia Indonesia Limited owns 30 per cent of the shares, namely 3,030 shares valued at Rp3.03 billion. Each share in the company has a nominal value of Rp1 million. The formation of this joint venture also impacts the expansion of the business lines owned by Erajaya through its subsidiary entities. Amelia stated, “With the establishment of this joint venture, it will result in an addition to the business lines owned by the company through its subsidiary entities.” For information, ERAL is a company under the control of Erajaya Swasembada with direct ownership of 80 per cent. The presence of PT Mega Cahaya Indonesia is expected to strengthen the group’s position in developing the LED display business and visual technology solutions in the Indonesian market.
