Erajaya (ERAA) Plans Share Buyback Worth Up to Rp 500 Billion
PT Erajaya Swasembada Tbk (ERAA) plans to conduct a share buyback worth up to Rp 500 billion. This plan is intended to maintain performance and capital market stability during conditions of significant market fluctuation.
According to information disclosure from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), the buyback will be implemented gradually over a three-month period, starting from 4 September 2026 until 4 December 2026.
“The Company plans to repurchase the Company’s shares that have been issued and listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange with a maximum amount of Rp 500,000,000,000,” management wrote, as reported on Thursday (3/9/2026).
It was noted that the number of shares to be purchased is 797,500,000 shares, representing 5% of the total shares.
The funds for the buyback will be sourced entirely from ERAA’s internal cash reserves. Consequently, assets and equity will decrease in accordance with the proforma table, plus the transaction costs of the share repurchase.
However, the impact of this transaction on the Company’s operating costs will not be material, and profit and loss are expected to remain in line with the Company’s targets.
“In light of these matters, the Company is confident that the execution of the Share Repurchase transaction will not have a material negative impact on the Company’s business activities, given that the Company possesses sufficient capital and cash flow to finance the transaction alongside its business operations,” it stated.
Furthermore, management emphasised that ERAA’s revenue will not decrease due to this buyback action. While the buyback may have a minimal impact on the Company’s financial condition, it will not significantly affect the Company’s operations.
Management ensured that this corporate action will not affect the financial condition because, to date, ERAA possesses adequate funds to finance its business activities.
To facilitate this corporate action, the company has appointed PT Ciptadana Sekuritas Asia.
