Epson Indonesia Drives Smart Classroom Implementation to Realise the Future Education Ecosystem
Yogyakarta, VIVA – Digital transformation in the education sector continues to develop alongside the growing need for learning methods that are more interactive, collaborative and relevant to technological developments. To answer these needs, PT Epson Indonesia, in collaboration with the Education, Youth and Sports Office of the Special Region of Yogyakarta and the Educational Communication Technology Centre (Balai Tekkomdik) of DIY, organised a seminar titled “Building Digital Classrooms Through the Integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Interactive Technology” as an effort to accelerate the implementation of Smart Classrooms in schools.
The event brought together school principals, deputy principals, teachers and education personnel from various schools in Yogyakarta to share insights on the use of digital technology in creating more effective, engaging and student-centred learning experiences.
The seminar was officially opened by Drs. Raden Suci Rahmadi, M.I.P., Acting Head of the Educational Communication Technology Centre (Tekkomdik) of the Special Region of Yogyakarta, who affirmed that the use of digital technology is one of the important foundations in improving the quality of education.
“Education transformation requires close collaboration between government, educational institutions and industry players. Synergy like this is a concrete step in delivering more innovative learning while preparing the younger generation to face future challenges,” he said, quoted on Friday, 24 July 2026.
Technological developments such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), visual technology and the Smart Classroom concept are no longer merely trends, but have become an important part of building a modern learning ecosystem. Technology enables teachers to deliver more interactive learning experiences, encourage collaboration and increase student participation in the classroom.
