JAKARTA (JP): Activities to mark World Environment Day on June
14 in the city will be centered on Kelapa Island in the Seribu
Island chain, an official said on Thursday.

"The activities will include fishing and the planting of a
number different species of trees, including Artocarpus
Commuunis, commonly known as sukun, and mangroves," City
Environment Office chief Aboejoewono Aboeprajitno said.

The theme of 1995 Environment Day in Indonesia is Kita Umat
Manusia Bersatu Padu untuk Membangun Tanpa Merusak Lingkungan
Hidup (We have to work together to build without destroying the
environment), he said.

Representatives of all the related offices in the city are
expected to participate in the activities, he added. (31)
