Enthusiasm of Citizens During Halalbihalal at the Palace, Shouts of "Long Live Pak Prabowo!"

JAKARTA - Enthusiasm and shouts from citizens erupted when President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto entered the halalbihalal room at the Palace in Jakarta on Saturday (21/3/2026). Kompas.com observations from the location showed citizens shouting “Long Live Pak Prabowo!” as the head of state toured the room to greet the attendees. The atmosphere in the halalbihalal room immediately became lively when Prabowo entered to greet them directly. Several members of the public, who had initially been sitting and enjoying lunch, stood up and lined up to welcome Prabowo. Some citizens extended their hands to shake Prabowo’s. Others were ready with their phones to take photos with the President of the Republic of Indonesia. Additionally, other enthusiastic citizens shouted upon seeing Prabowo. “That’s Pak Prabowo, that’s Pak Prabowo,” one citizen shouted. In addition, Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya and Minister for State Secretariat Prasetyo Hadi were also present to accompany the head of state.
