Entering the Data Centre Business, REAL Acquires This Company

Digital infrastructure issuer PT Repower Asia Indonesia Tbk (REAL), through its controlled subsidiary PT Repower Global Sinergitame (RGST), has agreed to acquire PT Quanta Tunas Abadi (HIGEN).

“On 6 October 2026, the Company’s controlled subsidiary, RGST, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with HIGEN regarding the preparation of an acquisition intended to develop RGST’s business in the fields of Managed Services, Information Technology Infrastructure, Internet, and Data Centres,” stated Sjafardamsah, Director/Corporate Secretary of REAL, in a statement on Wednesday (7/10/2026).

The signing of this MoU serves as the foundation for RGST and HIGEN to prepare and discuss the strategic steps required for business development in these sectors.

The Memorandum of Understanding is non-binding and non-exclusive, and requires further discussion. The certainty of the transaction’s completion depends on the execution of due diligence, the fulfilment of the parties’ internal requirements, the signing of a definitive agreement, and approval from relevant authorities in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

This MoU signing marks the beginning of the Company’s business transformation, opening strategic opportunities through its subsidiary (RGST) to undertake business development and expansion in the fields of IT infrastructure, internet, and data centres.
