Ensuring Safe Homecoming: Jasa Raharja Participates in Route Survey in West Java
Jasa Raharja participated in a route survey within the jurisdiction of the West Java Regional Police today. This participation aims to ensure that the public can travel safely and comfortably during the 2026 Eid al-Fitr homecoming and return journeys.
This activity is part of a joint effort by various stakeholders to strengthen infrastructure readiness, services, and traffic security in preparation for the 2026 Ketupat Operation.
The KM 81 rest area on the Cipali toll road was the first location visited by the team, followed by the Cipali PJR headquarters at KM 188 and the Cileunyi post via the Cisumdawu toll road. All of these locations are strategically important and play a vital role in supporting the smooth flow of traffic during the Eid al-Fitr homecoming and return periods.
The Chief of the Indonesian National Police Traffic Corps, Inspector General of Police Agus Suryonugroho, affirmed that the 2026 Ketupat Operation, with the tagline ‘Safe Homecoming, Happy Family’, represents a shared commitment to safeguarding public safety.
“The state is present through the collaboration of all stakeholders in preparing for the security of homecoming routes, both in Sumatra and Java. This year, we are establishing vehicle inspection checkpoints, especially for buses and travel companies, which will cover vehicle roadworthiness, the condition and health of drivers, and the completeness of administrative documents. The inspections will be carried out in an integrated manner with the Ministry of Transportation, health authorities, and with the support of Jasa Raharja,” Agus said in a statement on Tuesday (24/2/2026).
He added that several strategic measures have been prepared, including the use of the Japek Selatan toll road during the return journey, accelerating the repair of damaged roads, and strengthening supervision on arterial roads and major national roads.
Meanwhile, the President Director of Jasa Raharja, Muhammad Awaluddin, stated that the company fully supports the direction of the Chief of the Indonesian National Police Traffic Corps in creating a safe and secure homecoming.
“Jasa Raharja will prepare 25 Integrated Service Posts (Posyanter) along the homecoming routes, one of which will be at KM 81 as part of a checkpoint station. These Posyanter will collaborate with all stakeholders in supporting driver health checks, providing route information, and providing safety education,” he explained.
Furthermore, Awaluddin emphasized that Jasa Raharja’s main focus during this homecoming and return period is to reduce the number of traffic accidents, minimize the risk of fatalities, and ensure that the public receives optimal protection through Jasa Raharja’s accident insurance program.
The presence of Jasa Raharja personnel in the field is a tangible manifestation of the company’s commitment to providing excellent service based on a spirit of wholeheartedly serving the public. As part of the Danantara Indonesia ecosystem, the company continues to strengthen its role as a state-owned enterprise that is adaptive, responsive, and focused on the interests of the community.
In addition, through this route survey activity, all stakeholders are committed to strengthening coordination, data integration, and operational readiness in facing the surge in public mobility during Eid al-Fitr. This effort is a clear demonstration that the state is present in providing protection, security, and comfort for all road users.
By prioritizing synergy, professionalism, and a humanistic approach, Jasa Raharja is committed to providing a safe, orderly, and sustainable transportation system for all Indonesian people.
For information, this route survey was led by the Chief of the Indonesian National Police Traffic Corps, Inspector General of Police Drs.
