JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - PT Hutama Karya (Persero) is urging road users to ensure their electronic money balances are sufficient with the implementation of integrated tariffs at Junction Palembang, which begins operations on Friday (3/4/2026). This policy applies following the opening of three new ramps that support more practical journeys without exiting the toll road. The operation of Junction Palembang refers to Ministerial Decree (SK) of Public Works (PU) Number 167/KPTS/M/2026. This includes Ramp 5 (Betung–Indralaya), Ramp 6 (Betung–Palembang), and Ramp 8 (Palembang–Kayu Agung). With this integration, road users will be charged tariffs according to the route travelled. Meanwhile, Ramp 4A (Indralaya–Betung) as well as Ramp 7 (Betung–Kramasan and Kramasan–Kayu Agung) will open simultaneously with the operation of the Palembang–Betung Toll Road. Acting Executive Vice President (EVP) Secretary of Hutama Karya, Hamdani, reminded of the importance of preparation before travelling on that toll section. According to him, with the operation of Junction Palembang, connectivity between toll sections in the Palembang and surrounding areas will be even better. Thus, road users can now undertake several journeys more efficiently and practically through directly connected routes. “We urge road users to prepare their journeys well, including checking routes and ensuring sufficient electronic money balances before passing through,” he said on Thursday (2/4/2026).
