Engaged Woman Missing in Pati Found With Her Lover in a Hotel

Two people were detained by officers on Saturday, 23 May 2026, at approximately 05:15 WIB, at a hotel in Jepara Regency, police said. The bride-to-be, NAS, 19, a resident of Tlogowungu Sub-district, Pati Regency, was with a man identified as DF, 18, a resident of Purwosari Village, Tlogowungu. ‘This man is believed to be her lover,’ said Tlogowungu Police Chief AKP Mujahid. The police said they had received a report from NAS’s family on Thursday morning (21 May). The family reported that NAS had left home through the back door on foot, on the day of her nikah ceremony. Based on investigations, officers obtained information that NAS was believed to be with DF at the RedDoorz Near Turut hotel located on Jalan Nusa Indah, Kedungcino Village, Jepara District, Jepara Regency. The suspicion was reinforced by the discovery of a Honda Beat Street motorcycle at the hotel. Officers then checked the room with a hotel guard present. When the door was knocked, NAS and DF were found inside and were immediately secured. The two were taken to Polsek Tlogowungu for questioning. ‘We then brought both to Mapolresta Pati for further questioning,’ he said.
