Jakarta (ANTARA) - Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Bahlil Lahadalia inaugurated Rilke Jeffri Huwae as Director General of Law Enforcement (Dirjen Gakkum) at the ESDM Ministry in Jakarta on Wednesday.
"Today we inaugurated the Director General of Law Enforcement, a new director general, because this is mandated by law, particularly under the Mineral and Coal Law (Law Number 2 of 2025 on Minerals and Coal)," said Bahlil following the inauguration at the ESDM Ministry in Jakarta on Wednesday.
With the inauguration of the Director General of Law Enforcement, Bahlil stated that all disputes and issues within the scope of the ESDM Ministry would be handled by the ministry, including illegal mining.
"So all disputes and issues will truly be resolved here, at the ministry," he said.
In addition to the Director General of Law Enforcement, Bahlil also inaugurated Ma'mun as Director of Criminal Enforcement at the Directorate General of Law Enforcement.
