Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Minister Bahlil Lahadalia has guaranteed that non-tax state revenue (PNBP) from the mineral and coal (minerba) as well as oil and gas (migas) sectors will exceed the set target.

“PNBP from the minerba sector and from migas at the end of the year will definitely be more than 100 percent. I assure you it will definitely be more,” said Bahlil in Jakarta on Tuesday, when meeting with Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa.

As of July, PNBP at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources had reached Rp96.26 trillion, or 70.69 percent of the 2026 target of Rp136.18 trillion.

According to Bahlil, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources have a close working relationship, in which ESDM strengthens the PNBP sector.

“These are two ministries that have a close working relationship — I am on the PNBP side, then Mr Minister Purbaya is on the revenue enhancement side,” he said.

On the same occasion, Finance Minister Purbaya also encouraged PNBP from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources to be realised at more than 100 percent.

“It should be more — we push Mr Bahlil to achieve more than 100 percent,” he said.

Finance Minister Purbaya said that tax revenue realisation up to 31 July 2026 grew by 23 percent, a figure considered relatively safe.

“So it is still relatively safe, growth is more than 23 percent,” said Minister Purbaya without mentioning the nominal amount.

Data from the Ministry of Finance shows that state revenue realisation up to 30 June reached Rp1,459.4 trillion, or 46.3 percent of the 2026 state budget target. This achievement grew strongly by 21.4 percent compared with the same period last year.

This performance was mainly driven by tax revenue reaching Rp1,035.7 trillion with growth of 24.6 percent year-on-year, customs and excise revenue of Rp152.0 trillion growing 3.4 percent year-on-year, and PNBP of Rp271.0 trillion also growing 21.6 percent year-on-year.
