The Outliers (high-growth companies) from Indonesia serve as a reminder that building large-scale businesses from Indonesia is not only possible… even amid various challenges, determined by the courage of founders and mentor connections.

Jakarta (ANTARA) - Endeavor Indonesia has released the Endeavor Outliers 2026 list, highlighting 13 high-growth companies from Indonesia and Singapore deemed capable of surviving and continuing to develop amid the global dynamics of the startup industry.

Managing Director of Endeavor Indonesia, Monika Rudijono, stated that the companies on the list represent the top-performing group that can maintain growth while ensuring business resilience.

“The Outliers from Indonesia remind us that building large-scale businesses from Indonesia is not only possible, even amid various challenges, and is determined by the courage of the founders and mentor connections,” said Monika in her statement, Jakarta, Friday.

She explained that this recognition is given to around 10 percent of the best-performing companies from Endeavor’s global network, which includes more than 3,000 entrepreneurs in over 50 countries.

Globally, Endeavor notes that the Outliers 2026 include 238 companies, comprising 93 unicorns (startups valued over 1 billion USD) and five decacorns (startups valued over 10 billion USD), with total funding exceeding 31 billion USD in the last three years.

This demonstrates that high-growth companies play a role in driving digital economic growth across markets.

In Indonesia, the founders of the companies on the list include Edward Tirtanata and James Prananto of Kopi Kenangan, Umang Rustagi and Akshay Garg of Kredivo, Tubagus Syailendra and Ashab Alkahfi of Chickin, and Vince Iswara of DANA.

Endeavor classifies these companies into categories based on business scale, from Early Breakout (revenues of 30–50 million USD), Scaling Up (50–100 million USD), Scaled & Growing (over 100 million USD), to Multipliers (companies with exits valued over 500 million USD).

According to Monika, the resilience of these companies is an important indicator in maintaining the stability of the startup ecosystem amid global pressures that drive efficiency and profitability.

She assesses that the funding adjustment trends in recent years reflect a shift towards a healthier and more sustainable ecosystem.

Endeavor records that Indonesia is one of the countries with the largest number of startups in the world, with more than 3,100 active startups.

With a population of over 270 million and a continuously growing middle class, Indonesia is considered to have a strong foundation for producing global-scale technology companies.

Endeavor Indonesia states that it will continue to support high-impact entrepreneurs through its global mentor network and ecosystem built in more than 45 countries.
