End of the Run for Andre “The Doctor”, Supplier to Two Drug Networks in Indonesia
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The Narcotics Crime Directorate of the National Police Criminal Investigation Agency has finally arrested the fugitive Andre Fernando alias “The Doctor” on Sunday (5/4/2026). The Doctor is a drug supplier who previously assisted drug lord Erwin bin Iskandar alias Koko Erwin in escaping across the waters to Malaysia before being captured by police. Meanwhile, Koko Erwin is a drug lord and the payer of Rp 2.8 billion to the former Bima City Police Chief, AKBP Didik Putra Kuncoro. “It is true that on Sunday, 5 April 2026, the wanted person named Andre Fernando alias Charlie alias The Doctor was successfully arrested in Penang, Malaysia,” said the Director of Narcotics Crimes at the National Police Criminal Investigation Agency, Brigadier General Police Eko Hadi Santoso, in his statement on Monday (6/4/2026). Based on Kompas.com’s observation on Monday (6/4/2026) at 19:24 WIB, The Doctor got out of the back door of a Toyota Avanza with licence plate B 1477 BYR. He was then assisted by several officers in civilian clothes and black masks to sit in a wheelchair. Subsequently, the officers pushed the wheelchair he was on towards a lift. The Doctor appeared to be wearing a long-sleeved black T-shirt and cream shorts, with a bald head and barefoot. Both of his legs were bandaged, while both of his hands were bound with white cable ties. The officers then took him into the lift to undergo further examination. The Head of the Narcotics Investigation Center Task Force of the Narcotics Crime Directorate at the National Police Criminal Investigation Agency, Commissioner Police Kevin Leleury, revealed that The Doctor was a supplier of drugs for two networks operating in Indonesia. “Andre ‘The Doctor’ is a supplier for two networks that exist in Indonesia,” said Kevin when met at the National Police Criminal Investigation Agency in South Jakarta on Monday (6/4/2026). The first is the West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) network with suspect Erwin bin Iskandar alias Koko Erwin.
