Emergency kiosks have been erected along the slow lane of Jl.
Kramat Raya following the fire that razed Pasar Kenari some time
ago. This was done to help the vendors to rehouse their
merchandise and resume their business activities.

However, this new construction causes problems for road users.
The newly built kiosks are encroaching on the road so that
vehicles, especially big trucks, can only move at snail's pace.

I therefore would like to suggest that the market is
reconstructed in stages, so that there is space left for the
affected vendors to carry on their business while at the same
time the traffic jams are lessened.
